Self-monitoring using mood charts – Self-help activity (based on principles of cognitive-behavioral therapy) where you can record your mood, usually at set time intervals, in order to connect the feelings to what happened during the day.

A mood chart can help physician, therapist, or psychiatrist give a more accurate diagnosis and treatment. It allows to see patterns in the daily life and to better understand the triggers for worsening.
