Under periods of great stress, we often tend to give up pleasant activities and do only what is needed. Maintaining reasonable levels of pleasant activities help to be more active, encouraged and less distressed.
Step 1
Make your own “Pleasant Events Schedule” by listing all activities which you enjoyed in the past. List not only big event, like going on holidays, but break them down into small things, like “enjoying the sun on my skin” or “listening to a bird”. Make the following categories;

Check which activity you have not done in the past 30 days
Step 3
Make a written plan to do more pleasant activities. Start with simple activities. Do as many as you reasonably can, at least one per day, maybe more on weekends.
